Jose Correa, the founder of Corr Security Consulting LLC, has 35 years of collective experience in law enforcement and security. Jose started his career in law enforcement in the late 1980’s and has never looked back.
Jose began as a correctional officer in the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department. Jose was invited to attend the Passaic County Sheriff’s Corrections, and then the Police Academy where he graduated in the top percentile of his class. After a few years as a Sheriff’s Officer on patrol within the county of Passaic, he was promoted to Detective.
In 1995 Jose was promoted to the Passaic County Narcotics Division and began to conduct narcotics investigations within the county. His aggressive approach to narcotics investigations led him to be assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Upon his assignment to the DEA, he attended and successfully completed numerous advanced narcotics and money laundering courses, to include but not limited to, Top Gun Advanced Narcotics Investigation Training, DEA Undercover School, and other top advanced courses.
During this time, while working in an undercover capacity, Jose infiltrated Colombian and Mexican Cartel Organizations while posing as international money launderer and narcotics importer. His infiltration led to the arrests and dismantling of major drug trafficking and money laundering organizations.
In 2011 Jose retired from a long prestigious career in Law enforcement and has since parlayed his years of experience into the security business.
During his tenure in the security business, Jose has had the opportunity to conduct security for high net worth individuals and talent. Jose and his team have designed high tech security systems to work in conjunction with armed and unarmed security personnel when needed. His team of professional security have provided and continue to provide armed and unarmed security for their homes and businesses, as well as the security for their families while at home or in transit.
Jose is a detailed oriented individual who works vigorously to make sure the security consulting concepts put forth to his clients are the newest and best.
